Once arrived in the capital of Capaccio-Paestum's territory, 400 meters above sea level, it's definitely worth visiting the Franciscan Monastery. Built in 1500, it's surrounded by oak, pines, firs and hazel trees as well as by a long chain of green mountains, where it's possible to hike almost all-year-round. Within the ancient monastery's cloister, it's located another important place of cultural interest: the Grand Tour's Museum. The religious complex consists of an ancient church with three naves, in which stand out many paintings and holy sculpture. After several years-long preservation works, nowadays the Franciscan complex display a very efficient recreation area dedicated to tourists' reception, as well as several sport facilities where it's possible to relax or to keep fit.
